Frequently asked questions
- What media can I use?
- You can combine photos and videos selected from Photos into one movie. For background music, use a bundled track or an audio file selected from Files.
- Can the app create highlights from a long video?
- Yes. Select one longer video, and the app analyzes audio and scene changes on your iPhone to assemble highlight candidates into a shorter movie.
- Why can’t I save a movie to Photos?
- Check the add-only Photos permission for 1sec Movie in iOS Settings. Depending on your iOS version, it appears under Apps or Privacy & Security. Also confirm that the device has enough free storage.
- Does the app upload my media to a server?
- No. Media analysis, editing, and movie generation run on your iPhone. The app does not send your media or edits to a developer-operated server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Can I restore a Pro purchase?
- Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for the purchase, then choose Restore Purchases from the app’s Pro screen.
- What should I do if movie generation fails?
- Free up storage, reduce the number of selected items or the video length, and try again. If the problem continues, contact us with the steps that led to it and any message shown by the app.
- How do I delete app data?
- Resetting or leaving the editor makes temporary editing files eligible for deletion. Delete saved movies in Photos. The developer does not retain your media or editing data as a result of using the app, so there is no developer-side copy of those app data to delete.
